Bankhead National Forest was an exciting fieldtrip for the gang! It’s located in Double Springs, Alabama just minutes from our home! Between climbing mountain terrain, playing in the waterfall, watching the huge bass swim in Bear Lake, and finding an awesome cave…we had a fabulous day! We loved the beautiful scenery and horse trails! We walked over the rocky stream until coming across a few leeches! Which it was pretty much time to go by then.
